20 yearsJob Description : GM RETAIL NIGERIA 20+ years experience Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement retail strategies that align with the company's objectives. - Forecast and drive annual, quarterly, and monthly sales budgets and ensure timely reporting on store & business performance and MIS to management. - Develop , manage and drive full P&L , annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for the brand ensuring alignment with business and financial objectives. - Control expenses, manage costs, and optimize resource allocation to maximize ROI ensuring financial objectives are met - Oversee all aspects of retail operations including store management, inventory control, and supply chain logistics. Monitor sales performance, analyze KPIs, and develop action plans to meet and exceed sales, Kpi's and profitability targets. - Oversee daily operations of retail stores to ensure efficiency - Ensure compliance with company policies, adherence to quality, Brand Vm standards across all retail outlets and drive initiatives to enhance the overall retail experience. - Implement, review and audit Sop adherence across all Retail outlets. - Lead, coach, and develop retail team for peak performanc - Recruit, train, and develop high-performing teams, set clear performance expectations, provide ongoing coaching and feedback to foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. - Devise strategies and ensure excellent customer service is consistently delivered across all customer touchpoints. - Implement processes for inventory management, loss prevention & stock counts, Correct System stocks and asset security across the business. - Oversee warehouse operations to ensure stock storage health &Safety, Sop processes, system maintenance, SLA's, Effective stock movement and timely replenishment to stores - Conduct market research, competitor and consumer behavior analysis to review Gaps and adjust product positioning to stay ahead. Ensure communication of customer buying trends, behavior and feedback from our stores and competitor stores is fed back to the Buying /Planning and marketing teams to assist effective decision making. - Drive Customer espousal of Company Crm and Loyalty program across stores and review the customer buying data periodically to assist effective decision making. - Review Inventory performance regularly and collaborate with the Buying and planning team to ensure that products in the right categories are available in region in the right quantities at all times to maximize Sales performance - review and Share feedback about product performance with the Planning and buying team, suggest, own and drive initiatives to maximize stock turns, performance and product efficiency in alignment with Company expectations. - Drive and ensure strict product OTB adherence and timely stock deliveries for the country in conjunction with the Planning team. - Work with the marketing team to develop effective promotional and advertising campaigns and ensure objectives are met. Devise and drive the yearly marketing calendar events to deliver on sales, profitability and inventory outcome objectives - Conduct market research, suggest and drive business expansion through new formats, new stores in current and opportune geographies in country to management with full 360 degrees visibility on expected financials and business information to assist decision making -Ensure new locations and formats are delivered as per planned timelines, Brand standards and guidelines. - Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as legal requirements Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, other functions and partners.
