About the Opportunity A leading global agri-commodities trading organization is looking for a dynamic and commercially driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its finance function from its Dubai headquarters. The organization has a strong international footprint across commodity sourcing, export trading, supply chain operations, and emerging markets, with growing operations across the African continent. This role requires a strategic finance leader who can drive profitability, governance, operational efficiency, funding strategy, and global expansion initiatives. ???? Financial Strategy & Leadership Drive overall financial strategy aligned with global business growth objectives Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and profitability management Provide strategic financial insights to the Board and executive leadership team Build scalable financial models for global commodity trading operations ???? Global Trading & Commodity Finance Manage finance operations related to international agri-commodity trading Oversee trade finance, LC/BG management, forex exposure, treasury, and hedging strategies Monitor commodity price risks, working capital cycles, and international cash flows Ensure optimized financing structures for import/export operations ???? African Market Exposure Support financial operations across African markets and emerging economies Handle multi-country compliance, taxation, and cross-border regulatory frameworks Partner with regional business teams for expansion, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency ???? Treasury & Banking Build strong relationships with global banks, financial institutions, and investors Lead fundraising, debt structuring, and trade finance negotiations Optimize liquidity, cash management, and capital allocation strategies ????? Governance, Risk & Compliance Strengthen internal controls, audit readiness, and governance frameworks Ensure compliance with international accounting standards and regional regulations Lead enterprise risk management initiatives across global operations ? Mandatory Requirements ? Must-Have 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience Strong experience in Agri Commodities / Commodity Trading / Export Trading industry ? Preferred Exposure to African continent operations or emerging markets Experience working with multinational trading organisations CA / CPA / CMA / MBA Finance preferred ERP transformation and finance digitization experience is an advantage
