Job Description : Internal Controller (Manufacturing) ???? Location: West Africa ???? Sector: Manufacturing Sector Are you a sharp, disciplined, and high-integrity finance professional? Do you excel at safeguarding financial integrity, preventing fraud, and driving robust governance? Our client, a major player in the manufacturing sector with expanding operations in West Africa, is looking for an Internal Controller. ???? Compensation: $1,700 – $1,800 USD/month + Single/Bachelor Status Expat Benefits (Food, Accommodation, Annual Home Leave Tickets, etc.) ???? Key Responsibilities • Internal Control & Transaction Auditing: Own and assess governance, risk management, and control frameworks (heavy focus on Sales & Collections and Purchases & Payments). Conduct rigorous post-audits, review balances/notes, and continuous control testing. • Financial Integrity & Compliance: Ensure transaction-level financial data is highly accurate and fully reconciled. Strictly enforce approval matrices and the segregation of duties across all functions. • Reporting & Action Planning: Issue clear monthly control and risk reports for senior management. Partner with teams to close out remediation plans and serve as the primary liaison for external auditors. ???? Candidate Profile & Requirements Educational Qualifications: • Required: CA (Intermediate or Qualified), Master’s degree, or MBA in Finance, Accounting, or Business. • Highly Preferred: CIA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent professional certifications. Experience & Skills: • 8++ years of solid experience in finance, internal/external audit, or controllership roles. • Industry Background: Must have experience working within manufacturing, trading, or complex multi-entity environments. • Regional Experience: Experience handling high-volume transactional operations in emerging markets (specifically West Africa) is a massive advantage. • Attributes: Uncompromising integrity, an independent mindset, and the confidence to constructively challenge stakeholders. ??
