20 yearsJob Description : Group Chief Financial Officer Location: UAE , UAE based Group that is seeking to appoint a Group Chief Financial Officer to lead the business through a successful IPO. The Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for leading, shaping, and continuously evolving the Group’s financial strategy to support sustainable growth, value creation and long-term shareholder returns. The role will ensure that financial planning, capital allocation, governance, and performance management frameworks are fully aligned with the Group’s strategic objectives across its diversified portfolio. The Group CFO will establish and lead a high-impact finance function and Centre of Excellence, with oversight of all core financial disciplines, including strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, tax, financial reporting, and risk management. The role will ensure that robust financial controls, insights, and analytics underpin decision-making, enhance operational performance, and support the Group’s expansion across multiple sectors. A critical priority for this role will be leading the Group’s IPO readiness and execution strategy. The Group CFO will drive the end-to-end public listing process, including development of the equity story, financial structuring, enhancement of governance frameworks, and regulatory compliance. This will involve managing relationships with investment banks, legal advisors, auditors, and regulatory authorities, as well as overseeing due diligence, valuation and transaction execution. The role will act as a key strategic partner to the Group CEO and executive leadership team, playing a central role in shaping corporate strategy, evaluating investment opportunities, and optimising the Group’s capital structure. The Group CFO will also lead funding strategies, manage relationships with banks and financial institutions and ensure the Group maintains strong liquidity and financial flexibility. Balancing strategic leadership with operational excellence, the Group CFO will ensure the highest standards of governance, compliance, and financial transparency across all entities. The role will also focus on building and developing a high-performing finance organisation, fostering a culture of accountability, performance and continuous improvement. Working closely with business unit leaders and functional teams, the Group CFO will drive consistency in financial standards and disciplined execution across the Group, enabling scalable growth and delivering long-term value.
