Job Description : GM DUBAI UAE An established international consumer brand is entering the GCC with ambitious expansion plans and a strong long-term investment outlook. The mandate is not simply to launch stores. It is to build a scalable operating business across the region with the right commercial, operational, and customer foundations from day one. Your Role This role sits at the center of expansion, operations, commercial performance, franchise management, and market execution. You will lead the launch and scale-up of a premium multi-site retail and F&B business across the GCC. The expectation is clear: build an operation that can expand aggressively without losing control of customer experience, unit economics, people standards, or operational discipline. This is a high-ambiguity, high-accountability environment. The successful candidate will need to balance growth pressure, franchise governance, operational execution, and commercial performance simultaneously. Key responsibilities include: Lead market entry and expansion strategy across the GCC Build operational systems, processes, and leadership capability from the ground up Drive aggressive store rollout while protecting profitability and customer standards Oversee store operations, commercial performance, staffing, supply chain readiness, and customer experience Manage franchisor and principal relationships while ensuring alignment with global brand standards Lead site selection discussions, mall negotiations, and location economics evaluation Establish scalable reporting, governance, and operational cadences across the business Build strong cross-functional teams across operations, commercial, HR, and support functions Drive accountability across store performance, expansion milestones, and operational KPIs Must Have 15+ years of leadership experience within multi-site retail, F&B, or consumer businesses Experience in the UAE is important for this role. Proven experience scaling businesses across the GCC Strong operational and commercial leadership capability Experience managing franchise or principal relationships within international brand environments Exposure to aggressive expansion and store rollout mandates Strong understanding of location economics, mall environments, and customer traffic behaviour Ability to operate effectively in founder-led or entrepreneurial environments with evolving structures Strong financial and commercial acumen with clear understanding of unit economics and profitability drivers This role requires someone who can balance speed with structure, expansion with control, and brand standards with commercial realities.
