Project Procurement Manager

Job Description : Project Procurement Manager – LNG (Green Field project) Location: Lagos, Nigeria Role Type: Full-Time | Leadership Role Experience: 25+ years This is a senior procurement leadership role responsible for end-to-end contracts & procurement, contracts management, strategic sourcing, and supply chain execution for large-scale LNG greenfield projects. Key Responsibilities: Lead overall procurement and contracts activities for LNG project execution Develop procurement strategies aligned with project schedules, budgets, and execution plans Manage end-to-end procurement lifecycle including tendering, bid evaluation, negotiations, and contract finalization Handle EPC / EPCM / LSTK contracts and commercial administration activities Coordinate with engineering, construction, QA/QC, finance, logistics, and project teams Manage global sourcing, vendor development, and supplier relationship management Monitor purchase order execution, manufacturing progress, inspections, logistics, and site deliveries Handle contract variations, claims management, and dispute resolution support Drive cost optimization, value engineering, and procurement efficiency initiatives Ensure compliance with procurement governance, audit standards, and contractual obligations Lead and mentor procurement teams across project functions Candidate Profile: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation / Industrial Engineering MBA or PG Diploma in Supply Chain / Contracts / Operations Management preferred 25+ years of experience in procurement and contracts management within LNG / Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical / Energy sectors Strong exposure to EPC / EPCM contracts and international procurement environments Strong knowledge of FIDIC / NEC contract frameworks and global sourcing practices Experience in SAP / Oracle ERP systems preferred Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder management capability
