20 yearsJob Description : General Manager – Sales – Lubumbashi DRC Industry: Heavy Commercial Vehicles (HCV) – Trucks & Buses We are hiring an experienced and aggressive sales leader for the position of General Manager – Sales for a leading Heavy Commercial Vehicle business based in Lubumbashi. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in commercial vehicle sales, dealer development, fleet business, and market expansion within the truck and bus segment. Key Responsibilities Lead overall sales operations for trucks and buses in the assigned territory Drive revenue growth, market penetration, and business expansion strategies Develop and manage dealer networks, fleet customers, and institutional accounts Handle key accounts including transport companies, mining companies, logistics operators, and infrastructure businesses Achieve sales targets, profitability goals, and market share objectives Build strong customer relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction Coordinate with OEMs, finance partners, and internal operational teams Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and business opportunities Lead and mentor sales teams across multiple regions and branches Develop strategic plans for fleet sales, government tenders, and large corporate accounts Ensure proper forecasting, reporting, and sales performance analysis Desired Candidate Profile Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Automobile, Mechanical, or related field MBA preferred 18+ years of experience in Heavy Commercial Vehicles, Trucks, Buses, Automotive, or Fleet Sales Strong experience in dealer management, fleet sales, institutional sales, and business development Proven leadership experience managing large sales teams and regional operations Strong understanding of the African commercial vehicle market will be preferred Experience working with OEMs, distributors, dealerships, or transport businesses Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills French-speaking candidates or candidates with exposure to Francophone Africa will have an added advantage Preferred Background Candidates currently working as: General Manager – Sales Regional Sales Head National Sales Manager Country Sales Manager Business Head – Commercial Vehicles Fleet Sales Head Dealer Development Head Compensation Attractive salary package with expatriate benefits, incentives, accommodation, and travel allowance.
