Job Description : Category Head – FMCG (Food & Non-Food) ???? ???? Location: Uganda ???? Experience Required: 12–15 Years We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Category Head to lead category growth, drive strategic initiatives, and manage end-to-end category performance for a leading FMCG organization in Uganda. ???? Key Responsibilities: ? Develop and execute category strategies to achieve business and financial objectives ? Analyze sales data, market trends, and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities ? Manage supplier and vendor relationships, including commercial negotiations ? Drive product assortment, merchandising, pricing, and promotional strategies ? Collaborate with supply chain teams to optimize inventory and product availability ? Lead end-to-end planning and execution of new product launches across MT, GT, and HoReCa channels ? Present category performance reviews and recommend actionable business improvements ???? Desired Expertise: ? Strong Trade Marketing, ATL, BTL & Digital Marketing exposure ? Proven experience in FMCG Food & Non-Food categories ? Strong analytical, commercial, and strategic thinking skills ? Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation abilities ? East Africa experience will be an added advantage ?? Candidates from Beverage and Telecom industries will not be considered.
