Job Description : Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Exergy is excited to support one of the region’s leading IPP developers in sourcing two Chief Financial Officer (CFO) candidates for major flagship projects in Saudi Arabia ???? Role Overview: ???? Executive-level CFO position within high-value asset infrastructure projects ???? Lead financial strategy, governance, and performance for large-scale IPP developments ???? Provide strong financial leadership across project lifecycle and operations ???? Drive investment decisions, financial structuring, and long-term value creation ???? Key Responsibilities: ???? Lead all financial operations for IPP project entities ???? Oversee financial structuring, funding, and investment strategies ???? Manage financial reporting, audits, and compliance requirements ???? Drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning ???? Ensure strong governance and risk management frameworks ???? Engage with investors, lenders, and key financial stakeholders ???? Support commercial negotiations and project financing activities ???? Provide strategic financial insights to executive leadership and boards ???? Oversee treasury, cash flow, and capital management ???? Ensure alignment with international financial standards and best practices ???? Candidate Requirements: ???? Proven executive-level finance experience (CFO or senior finance leadership role) ???? Strong background in high-value asset environments (energy, infrastructure, IPP, utilities preferred) ???? Experience leading finance in large-scale complex projects ???? IPP (Independent Power Producer) experience is highly advantageous ???? Strong understanding of project finance, structured finance, and investment models ???? Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills ???? Experience working with international investors, banks, and advisors ???? Strong strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities ????
