Job Description : Chief Operating Officer (COO) BELFAST IRELAND Open to International candidates A rapidly growing manufacturer of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), Pharmaceutical Ingredients, Nutraceutical Ingredients, Botanical Extracts, Carotenoids, and Specialty Health & Wellness Ingredients is seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead its business operations and drive the next phase of growth. Key Responsibilities: • Provide strategic leadership and oversee end-to-end business operations • Drive manufacturing excellence across APIs, nutraceutical ingredients, and botanical extracts businesses • Lead supply chain, procurement, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and commercial functions • Develop and execute business growth strategies aligned with organizational goals • Improve operational efficiency, productivity, profitability, and scalability • Establish robust systems, processes, and performance metrics across functions • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams while building a high-performance culture • Identify new market opportunities and support domestic and international business expansion • Manage budgets, investments, and operational performance Desired Profile: • 25+ years of leadership experience in APIs, Pharmaceutical Ingredients, Nutraceuticals, Botanical Extracts, Specialty Chemicals, Life Sciences, or related manufacturing sectors • Proven track record of driving business growth and operational excellence • Strong exposure to manufacturing, quality, regulatory, supply chain, and commercial operations • Experience in scaling businesses and managing large multidisciplinary teams • Strong strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and decision-making capabilities • MBA/PGDM or equivalent management qualification preferred
