Job Description : Head – Instrumentation, LNG Plant Nigeria The Head – Instrumentation Would lead the Instrumentation, Control Systems, Automation & Functional Safety functions of the LNG plant. The Role Would Responsible for ensuring Safe, Reliable & Efficient Operation of All field instrumentation, DCS, PLC, SCADA, ESD, Fire & Gas Systems, Analyzers & automation infrastructure Across the Facility. Key Responsibilities Instrumentation & Control Leadership Lead The Instrumentation & Control Function Across The Plant. Develop Instrumentation Standards, Maintenance Strategies & Reliability Programs. Ensure High Availability, Integrity & Performance Of All Instrumentation Systems. Drive Continuous Improvement In Automation & Process Control. Operations Support Provide Technical Support To Operations & Maintenance Teams. Lead Troubleshooting Of Critical Instrumentation & Control Issues. Conduct Root Cause Analysis For Plant Trips & Equipment Failures. Support Safe & Efficient LNG Plant Operations. Automation & Safety Systems Oversee DCS, PLC, SCADA, SIS, ESD & Fire & Gas Systems. Review Control Philosophies, Logic Changes & Cause-& Effect Matrices Lead Functional Safety Activities Including SIL Reviews & Risk Assessments. Ensure Compliance With Relevant Industry Standards & Regulations. Maintenance & Reliability Implement Preventive, Predictive & Condition-Based Maintenance Programs. Ensure Timely Calibration & Certification Of Critical Instruments. Monitor Reliability Metrics & Improve Plant Availability. Manage Spare Parts Planning & Vendor Support. Projects & Commissioning Support Plant Expansion, Upgrades & Brownfield Projects. Review Engineering Documents, P&IDs & Instrument Datasheets. Lead FAT, SAT, Commissioning, Startup & Performance Testing Activities. Coordinate With EPC Contractors, OEMs & Consultants. Team Leadership Lead, Mentor & Develop Instrumentation Engineers, Supervisors & Technicians. Build A Strong Culture Of Safety, Reliability & Operational Excellence. Drive Competency Development & Performance Management. Qualifications B.E./B.Tech In Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical Or Control Systems Engineering with about 15–20+ Years Of Experience In LNG, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical Or Energy Industries. Minimum 8 Years In A Leadership Position. Strong Experience In DCS, PLC, SIS, ESD & Fire & Gas Systems. Proven Exposure To Plant Operations, Maintenance, Commissioning & Projects.
