COUNTRY MANAGER

Job Description : COUNTRY MANAGER CHILE Lead end-to-end plant operations production, safety, quality, maintenance, and administration. Build and manage the on-ground organisation: hiring, training, and performance management of local talent. Develop and maintain tyre-sourcing and commercial relationships with mining companies and other waste generators. Secure and maintain all statutory licenses, environmental approvals, and operating permits from relevant government and regulatory authorities. Liaison with government bodies, industry stakeholders, and community representatives to ensure smooth plant operations and regulatory compliance. Ensure full compliance with Chilean labour, environmental, tax, and EPR regulations. Own plant KPIs: yield, OEE, cost per tonne, safety, and statutory compliance. Manage P&L, operating budgets, and capex execution for the facility. Coordinate with HQ on procurement, finance, EXIM, and technical functions. Essential Requirements Language: Full professional fluency in Spanish and English — spoken and written. This is non-negotiable. Relocation: Willingness to relocate to Chile on a long-term basis. 15+ years of operational leadership, including proven experience running a manufacturing facility end-to-end. Strong administration and stakeholder management background, including dealings with government authorities, regulators, and large industrial customers. Engineering degree (Mechanical / Chemical / Industrial); MBA or equivalent management qualification preferred. Demonstrated ability to set up or scale a greenfield manufacturing operation. P&L ownership experience. Strong grounding in EHS, ISO frameworks, and sustainability / EPR compliance. Preferred Prior work experience in Chile or Latin America. Exposure to tyre recycling, rubber processing, cement, mining services, or allied heavy industries. Cross-cultural leadership experience in an Indian or multinational setup.
