Job Description : Senior Vice President – Formulations Manufacturing Operations SWEDEN Open to International candidates We are seeking an accomplished and highly experienced Senior Vice President – Formulations Manufacturing Operations for a reputed pharmaceutical company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading large-scale manufacturing operations across multiple regulated formulation facilities, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, productivity enhancement, and business growth. Educational Qualification B.Pharm / M.Pharm is mandatory. Additional management qualification from a reputed institution will be an added advantage. Experience Minimum 25 years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. Extensive experience in managing multiple regulated Formulation Manufacturing Facilities, including: Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) Sterile Injectables Proven exposure to USFDA, MHRA, EU-GMP, TGA, and other regulated market operations. Must have worked in a VP / Sr. VP level role for at least the last 5 years. Experience in managing large manufacturing teams with a workforce exceeding 5,000 employees. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership for end-to-end manufacturing operations across multiple formulation facilities. Drive operational excellence, productivity improvement, cost optimization, and capacity enhancement initiatives. Ensure compliance with global regulatory and quality standards. Lead successful regulatory inspections and maintain a state of audit readiness. Develop and implement manufacturing strategies aligned with business objectives and growth plans. Oversee production planning, technology transfer, process optimization, and continuous improvement programs. Build, mentor, and develop high-performing leadership and operational teams. Collaborate closely with Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, R&D, and Commercial functions to achieve organizational goals. Drive digital transformation, automation, and operational efficiency initiatives across manufacturing sites. Desired Competencies Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
