Job Description : CFO DUBAI UAE The role will lead the overall finance function for the business, ensuring strong financial governance, strategic planning, commercial support, and operational control. The position requires a seasoned finance leader with prior exposure to agri commodities and hands-on experience working in African markets. Key Responsibilities Lead the complete finance and accounting function including financial reporting, controls, treasury, taxation, and compliance Drive strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance analysis Partner with business leadership to support commercial decision-making and growth initiatives Manage treasury operations including banking relationships, working capital, fund management, and financial risk control Ensure compliance with local regulations, audits, statutory requirements, and governance standards Support commodity-driven businesses with financial insights related to procurement, trading, and profitability Lead internal controls, process improvements, and financial governance frameworks Coordinate with auditors, financial institutions, regulators, and external stakeholders Build and lead high-performing finance teams across operations Skills and Experience Candidate Profile Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory 15–25 years of experience in finance leadership roles Current or prior experience as a CFO / Finance Head / Senior Finance Leader Strong exposure to agri commodities for at least 3–4 years within the last 7–8 years Experience in commodity categories such as sesame, cashew, pulses, peanuts, or related agri commodities preferred Prior experience working in African markets is mandatory Must have exposure to working with African teams, businesses, or regional stakeholders Experience living or working in Africa preferred Strong commercial acumen, leadership capability, and stakeholder management skills Experience in large, professionally managed organizations preferred Key Competencies Strategic finance leadership Commodity business understanding Treasury and risk management Governance and compliance Cross-cultural stakeholder management Leadership and team-building capability
