Job Description : BUSINESS HEAD NIGERIA FOR EDIBLE OIL The Business Head – Edible Oil will be responsible for leading the edible oil business in Nigeria, driving sales growth, profitability, market expansion, and commercial excellence. The role requires a strong business leader with deep understanding of edible oil markets, distribution networks, and consumer-facing sales operations. Key Responsibilities Lead the overall edible oil business with accountability for revenue, profitability, and market share. Drive sales strategy and execution across retail, wholesale, institutional, and distributor channels. Manage business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and commercial performance. Develop and expand distribution networks and key customer relationships. Monitor market trends, competition, pricing, and consumer demand. Work closely with procurement, operations, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure business objectives are achieved. Identify growth opportunities, new markets, and product expansion initiatives. Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing sales and commercial teams. Drive operational efficiency and sustainable business growth. Skills and Experience Candidate Profile 25 years of overall experience in FMCG, edible oils, food products, or agri-business. Minimum 4–5 years of direct experience in edible oil sales and commercial management. Proven experience handling large sales volumes and distribution networks. Strong understanding of FMCG sales, channel management, and market development. Prior P&L ownership or business leadership experience preferred. Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and leadership capabilities. Experience working in Africa or emerging markets will be an advantage. Willingness to relocate to Nigeria for a full-time leadership role.
