Head of Planning

Job Description : Head of Planning Location: Qatar ???? Key Responsibilities: Lead all planning & scheduling activities, including schedule development, risk analysis, and reporting Manage and coordinate inputs across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams Oversee contractor planning performance and ensure alignment with overall project timelines Conduct schedule risk, delay, and impact analysis, including recovery planning Ensure all project changes and impacts are properly reflected in the integrated schedule ? Mandatory Requirements (must be met): Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field Minimum 10 years’ experience in Project Controls within EPC oil & gas capital projects, primarily in Planning & Scheduling Strong knowledge of Project Controls principles, theories, and concepts Proven experience on major projects, from Owner and/or Contractor perspective Experience managing EPC lump sum contracts and working with multicultural teams and large subcontractors Proficient in Primavera and schedule risk analysis tools (e.g., Acumen, Primavera Risk Analysis) Ability to develop and maintain L1–L4 project schedules with proper logic, sequencing, and resource loading.
