Mechanical HOD

Job Description : Mechanical HOD – Cement Plant KENYA We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Head of Department (HOD) to lead the mechanical maintenance function at our cement manufacturing plant Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage all mechanical maintenance activities across the plant. • Ensure high equipment reliability and availability through preventive and predictive maintenance practices. • Plan and execute shutdowns, overhauls, and major maintenance projects. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and optimize plant performance. • Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and contractor resources. • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and technicians. • Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and statutory compliance standards. Desired Profile • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. • 20+ years of experience in cement manufacturing. • Strong exposure to kiln, crusher, raw mill, cement mill, packing plant, and material handling systems. • Proven leadership experience in mechanical maintenance within a cement plant. • Strong analytical, planning, and team management skills.
