20 yearsJob Description : HEAD OF FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION DAR ES SALAAM, TANZANIA INDUSTRY QSR/HOSPITALITY CONTRACT TYPE FULL-TIME REPORTING TO MANAGING DIRECTOR/ BOARD OF DIRECTORS TEAM SIZE DIRECT: 10-15 (ACCOUNTS & ADMIN) INDIRECT: 20-30 You will partner with the leadership team to drive financial strategy, ensure compliance, strengthen governance and build high-performing finance & admin teams. Your work will support business growth, operational efficiency and long-term profitability across our restaurants and hospitality operations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES STRATEGIC & FINANCIAL LEADERSHIP • Develop & execute financial strategy MIS & Board-level reporting ? Forecasting, scenario planning & risk analysis ? Capital planning, ROI & investment evaluation • Build models to optimize revenue & manage costs FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT • Oversee financial statements, accounts, tax & statutory reporting • Manage cash flow, treasury & working capital • Raise debt & manage lender relationships • Monitor costs & drive operational efficiencies • Liaise with auditors, tax advisors & regulators ADMINISTRATION, COMPLIANCE & GOVERNANCE • Ensure compliance with finance, tax, labour, food safety & hospitality regulations Oversee HR, payroll, IT, facilities & supply chain • Manage legal, contracts, insurance & risk ERP, SYSTEMS & PROCESS OPTIMISATION Lead ERP implementation & automation • Drive digital transformation across systems • Improve data accuracy, reporting & dashboards PEOPLE LEADERSHIP • Lead, mentor & develop Accounts & Admin teams • Build a culture of integrity, accountability & continuous improvement QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, . Business Administration or related field • Professional qualification required (CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent) or MBA Finance EXPERIENCE (MANDATORY) 10-15 years of total professional experience Minimum 5 years as Head of Finance (or equivalent leadership role) Minimum 5 years' experience in QSR. Experience in onboarding & implementing ERP systems Proven experience leading & managing Accounts teams Strong track record in MIS preparation, Board reporting & financial analysis Proven experience raising debt & managing lenders/debt providers Deep understanding of tax, audit & regulatory frameworks IDEAL CANDIDATE Strategic thinker with strong business acumen Excellent leadership & people management skills Comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-location hospitality environment Passionate about building systems, teams and driving results
