Ltd. is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented General Manager – Mechanical to lead mechanical operations, fleet management, equipment maintenance, and asset optimization across large-scale Infrastructure, Construction, Mining, and Industrial projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record in managing heavy equipment, operational excellence, and cost optimization. Key Responsibilities ???? Lead mechanical operations and maintenance functions across multiple projects. ???? Develop strategies for optimum utilization of heavy machinery and equipment. ???? Oversee equipment procurement, maintenance planning, and lifecycle management. ???? Provide strategic leadership for mechanical operations across multiple project sites. ???? Oversee fleet management, preventive maintenance, breakdown management, and equipment reliability. ???? Drive asset utilization, productivity enhancement, and operational efficiency initiatives. ???? Develop and implement maintenance policies, SOPs, and best practices. ???? Manage procurement, commissioning, and lifecycle management of heavy machinery and equipment. ???? Monitor equipment performance through KPIs, predictive maintenance, and data-driven decision-making. ???? Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines. ???? Lead vendor management, contract negotiations, and service agreements. ???? Collaborate with project, procurement, finance, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution. ???? Control maintenance budgets, optimize costs, and improve ROI on mechanical assets. Desired Profile ? 20+ years of experience in Mechanical Operations, Equipment Management, or Plant Maintenance. ? Extensive experience in Construction, Infrastructure, Mining, EPC, or Heavy Engineering sectors. ? Strong expertise in Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM), fleet operations, and workshop management. ? Proven ability to lead large teams and manage multi-location operations. ? Sound knowledge of TPM, Reliability Engineering, Asset Management, and Maintenance Planning. ? Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and strategic planning skills. ? Strong focus on operational excellence, safety culture, and continuous improvement.
