20 yearsJob Description : Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Oil & Gas Background NIGERIA Industry: Oil and Gas/Energy Role Summary: The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead the organization's financial strategy, planning, reporting, compliance, treasury, and risk management functions, with a strong focus on the oil and gas industry. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and execute the company's financial strategy. • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management. • Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements. • Provide strategic financial insights to support executive decision-making. • Manage relationships with banks, investors, auditors, and regulators. • Lead capital raising, investment analysis, and financial risk management activities. • Drive financial controls, governance, and operational efficiency. • Support mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions where applicable. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline. • Professional qualification such as ICAN, ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent. • Minimum of 18 years' experience in finance, with significant experience in the oil and gas sector. • Strong knowledge of corporate finance, taxation, treasury, and financial reporting. • Proven leadership and stakeholder management experience. • MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
