Having successfully launched an innovative subscription-based connectivity model and established early market traction, the business is entering its next phase of growth and expansion. To support this journey, we are seeking an entrepreneurial and commercially driven Chief Executive Officer / Chief Operating Officer to lead the business through a critical scaling phase and help build a category-defining company in West Africa. The Role Reporting directly to the Founder and Board, you will take full ownership of the day-to-day operations and commercial performance of the business. You will be responsible for scaling subscriber growth, building a high-performing leadership team, strengthening commercial partnerships, and shaping the long-term strategy of the organisation. This role is ideal for a hands-on operator who enjoys building businesses, identifying market opportunities, and leading teams in dynamic and fast-moving environments. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute the company’s growth strategy across sales, distribution, customer acquisition and retention. Drive overall business performance, including revenue growth, profitability and operational excellence. Develop and strengthen commercial partnerships with key stakeholders and service providers. Analyse customer behaviour, market trends and competitive dynamics to identify new growth opportunities. Lead product, pricing and commercial strategy to maximise customer adoption and retention. Build and develop a strong leadership team and organisational structure to support future growth. Establish scalable processes, performance metrics and operational disciplines across the business. Prepare board reports and provide strategic recommendations to support decision-making. Contribute to future expansion plans across new markets and territories. Candidate Profile We are looking for an ambitious growth leader who combines strategic thinking with strong execution capability. You are likely to bring: A minimum of 10 years' experience in telecoms, connectivity, digital services, technology, subscription-based businesses or related consumer sectors. Proven experience leading commercial growth, customer acquisition and market expansion initiatives. Strong understanding of consumer behaviour, pricing strategy, customer retention and demand generation. Experience scaling businesses, building teams and operating in high-growth or entrepreneurial environments. Strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify and execute new market opportunities. Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience working in Africa or other emerging markets will be highly advantageous. A willingness to relocate to Sierra Leone.
