Job Description : Country Head (Mining Operations) Location: Mauritania, Africa Role Type: Full-Time | Expatriate Leadership Assignment Experience: 25–30+ years This is a senior leadership mandate responsible for end-to-end country operations across large-scale mining and mining infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities: Lead overall mining operations and infrastructure activities in the country Oversee project execution, operations, logistics, and site performance Ensure delivery within approved timelines, budgets, and operational targets Manage government liaison, regulatory authorities, and key stakeholders Drive compliance, HSEF standards, and operational excellence across sites Lead multidisciplinary teams across operations, projects, and support functions Ensure safety, security, and operational continuity across remote mining locations Drive operational efficiency, cost optimization, and long-term business objectives Candidate Profile: BE / B.Tech from a reputed institution 25–30+ years of experience in mining operations / EPC / industrial projects Proven leadership in large-scale and remote mining environments Strong exposure to open-pit mining and mining infrastructure projects preferred International / Africa project experience will be an advantage Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities Excellent strategic thinking and decision-making ability
