Job Description : Corporate HSEF Head (Mining) Location: Africa Role Type: Full-Time | Expatriate Leadership Assignment Experience: 25–30+ years This is a senior leadership mandate responsible for establishing and driving Health, Safety, Environment, and Fire (HSEF) systems across mining operations and infrastructure projects in Africa. Key Responsibilities: Lead corporate HSEF strategy and governance across mining operations and infrastructure projects Develop and implement HSEF policies, standards, and compliance frameworks Ensure adherence to mining safety regulations and environmental standards Drive safety culture, risk reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives Conduct audits, inspections, risk assessments, and compliance reviews Lead incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective actions Oversee emergency response systems, fire safety, and crisis management planning Monitor occupational health, industrial hygiene, and workplace safety performance Ensure contractor compliance with HSEF requirements across all sites Provide strategic HSEF guidance and reporting to senior leadership Candidate Profile: BE / B.Tech from a reputed institution Additional certifications such as NEBOSH / IOSH preferred 25–30+ years of experience in HSEF / mining safety / EPC / industrial projects Strong exposure to mining or large infrastructure safety environments preferred International / Africa project experience will be an advantage Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety governance systems Excellent leadership, crisis management, and communication skills
