Job Description : General Manager (#Finance&Operations) Location: Dubai (Candidates must have strong experience in the Nigerian market) Salary: USD 6,000–8,000 NET per month Role Overview We are looking for an experienced General Manager (Finance & Operations) to lead business operations, finance, and strategic initiatives for a family-owned trading and procurement business. The role requires a commercially driven leader who can partner with senior management, strengthen financial governance, and drive operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day business operations and cross-functional teams. Manage financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance. Improve financial controls, governance, and business processes. Partner with business owners and senior leadership on strategic decisions. Oversee cash flow, working capital, FX management, and banking relationships. Drive operational efficiency and support business growth initiatives. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure compliance with Nigerian regulatory and financial requirements. Required Experience 15–20 years of experience in Finance and Business Leadership roles. Experience as a CFO, General Manager, Financial Controller, or Head of Finance. Strong exposure to family owned trading, procurement, or distribution businesses. Proven experience in financial transformation, governance, and operational leadership. Deep understanding of the Nigerian business environment, including taxation, banking, FX, and regulatory compliance. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or Business. CA, ACCA, CPA, or MBA preferred. Preferred Candidate Profile Strong commercial and strategic mindset with excellent stakeholder management skills. Experience advising business owners or promoters and working with senior leadership. Exposure to international trade, procurement, and multi-country African operations is an advantage. Willing to be based in Dubai and travel as required.
