Job Description : Chief Operating Officer (COO) ???? Location: Lima, Peru ???? Aventus Group is growing rapidly in Peru, and we’re looking for a bold, strategic, and hands-on Chief Operating Officer (COO) to help scale our business to the next level. As our operations continue to expand in the Peruvian market, we are seeking an experienced operational leader who can strengthen our business, drive operational excellence, and support the company’s next stage of growth. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing international fintech group and play a key role in shaping the future of our business in Peru. This position is ideal for a leader who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and has a strong background in lending, microfinance, fintech, or financial services. ???? We’re looking for: - 25+ years of experience in a COO, Country Manager, General Manager, or similar senior leadership role within microfinance, fintech, banking, or consumer lending; - Strong understanding of the Peruvian financial services market; - Experience managing large operational teams and driving business performance; - Strong expertise in business development, operations management, and strategic planning; - English communication skills for collaboration within an international environment; - Hands-on experience building, motivating, and scaling teams; - Strong analytical thinking and data-driven decision-making skills; High level of ownership, accountability, and self-discipline. ? Your mission as COO: - Lead and optimize all operational activities across the business; - Drive sustainable growth, profitability, and operational efficiency; - Ensure excellent portfolio performance and operational KPIs; - Build, develop, and lead high-performing teams across multiple functions; - Establish and improve operational processes, controls, and reporting systems; - Collaborate closely with local and international stakeholders to achieve business objectives; - Ensure effective cross-functional cooperation between operations, risk, marketing, collections, customer service, and other departments. ????
