20 yearsJob Description : Vice President – Manufacturing Operations -Speciality Chemicals - Gujarat & Maharashtra The Vice President – Manufacturing Operations Would lead large-Scale, Manufacturing Operations, Driving Operational Excellence, Safety, Regulatory Compliance, & Cost leadership. The Roles are Critical in leveraging Chemical Manufacturing ecosystem to Build a Globally Competitive & Scalable Operations Platform. Key Responsibilities 1. Manufacturing Strategy & Growth Drive Manufacturing Strategy Aligned with Aggressive Growth & export Plans Lead Capacity Expansion (Brownfield/Greenfield) 2. Plant Operations Leadership Oversee end-to-end Operations Across Multiple Plants/sites Drive Improvements in OEE, yield, Batch Cycle Time, & Cost Per ton Standardize Processes for Consistency & Scalability 3. EHS & Regulatory Compliance Ensure Strict Adherence to norms, environmental Clearances, & statutory Compliance Lead Audits, inspections, & Risk Mitigation frameworks Build a Zero-incident Safety Culture, especially in Hazardous Chemical handling 4. Project Execution Lead Execution of Capex Projects, Debottlenecking, & Plant Modernization Ensure Projects are Delivered on time, within Cost, & Compliant with Regulations 5. Talent & Industrial Relations Lead large workforce including plant Heads, Technical teams, & Contract labour Manage industrial relations (IR) effectively in Plant locations Build leadership Pipeline Across Manufacturing units Key Performance Metrics (KPIs) Plant EBITDA & Cost Optimization OEE, Yield improvement, & Capacity Utilization Safety Metrics Regulatory Compliance (zero Non-Compliance events) Capex Project Delivery timelines Inventory turns & working Capital efficiency Qualifications & experience B.Tech -Chemical Engineering With 20–25 years in Specialty Chemicals / Agrochemicals / Intermediates Strong Experience in Managing Chemical Manufacturing Site Proven Track Record in handling Regulatory Bodies & large-scale Plant Operations Deep familiarity with Pollution Control Norms, & environmental Audits Experience in Hazardous / Multi-Step Chemical Processes Strong Network within Chemical Ecosystem (Vendors, Regulators, Talent) Leadership Competencies Ownership with Execution Rigor Strong Crisis Management (Plant, Safety, Regulatory) Ability to Scale Operations Rapidly Stakeholder Management Across Corporate & Plant Teams
