Family Status Candidates Preferred A leading Sugar Manufacturing Group in Africa is seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Engineering Maintenance Manager to lead the complete mechanical maintenance function of a large-scale sugar manufacturing facility. ???? Mandatory Requirements ? Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering ? ANSI (Associateship of National Sugar Institute) Certification – Mandatory ? Sugar Engineering / Sugar Technology Certification – Mandatory ? 15+ years of experience in Sugar Manufacturing Industry ? Strong exposure to Mill House, Boiling House, Utilities, Boilers, Turbines & Cogeneration Plants ? Proven experience in preventive, predictive and shutdown maintenance ? Experience managing large maintenance teams and plant engineering operations ? Prior Africa experience will be an added advantage ? Preferred Age: 40–50 Years ???? Key Responsibilities ???? Lead the complete mechanical maintenance operations of the sugar plant ???? Ensure maximum equipment reliability, availability, and operational efficiency ???? Drive preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance programs ???? Manage annual shutdowns, breakdown maintenance, and major overhauls ???? Lead engineering teams, contractors, and maintenance personnel ???? Drive cost optimization, plant performance improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives ???? Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and statutory requirements ???? Ideal Candidate A seasoned Sugar Industry professional with extensive experience in mechanical maintenance, plant reliability, boiler & turbine systems, and a proven track record of managing large-scale sugar factory operations.
