Job Description : BUSINESS HEAD NIGERIA FOR FLEXIBLE PACKAGING product range spans in Flexible Packaging including Self-Adhesive Labels, Shrink Sleeves (PVC, PET & OPS), Aluminium Foil, Flower Sleeves, Printed Laminates & Flexible Packages. The SBU Head is a senior P&L leadership role with full accountability for the growth, performance, and management of flexible packaging and printing business. This is not a purely operational role - it is an growth oriented, entrepreneurial, commercially driven position that requires the role-holder to simultaneously grow the top line, manage customer relationships, lead product innovation, control costs, and ensure smooth factory operations. The person must be as comfortable in a customer meeting as well as on the factory floor, and as fluent in a P&L review as in a new product development discussion. Key responsibilities are : - Business Growth & Revenue Generation - Sales Management & Customer Relationships - New Product Development - Financial Management & P&L Accountability - Operations Management - People Leadership & Team Development Qualifications : Essential : - Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Engineering, Printing Technology, Packaging, or a related discipline; MBA is advantageous. - Overall experience of 20 years with a minimum 10 - 15 years of experience at a leading flexible packaging and/or printing, with at least 5 years in a senior SBU, GM, or commercial leadership role. Desirable : - Experience working in Africa or other emerging/developing market environments. - Familiarity with In-Mould Labelling (IML), security printing, or anti-counterfeit packaging solutions. - Exposure to ISO quality systems, lean manufacturing, or Six Sigma. - Knowledge of Esko Graphics pre-press workflows.
