Managing Director

Job Description : Managing Director (Automotive) – ME We have been retained by a global automotive organization to identify an accomplished Managing Director to lead its Middle East business, based in Dubai, UAE. Reporting directly to the President & CEO EMEA, this executive leadership role carries full responsibility for strategic direction, business performance, profitability, cash flow management, organizational leadership, governance, and long-term value creation across the region. A key mandate of the role will be to accelerate sustainable growth and capitalize on expansion opportunities across Africa. We are interested in speaking with senior executives who can demonstrate: • Extensive experience as a Managing Director, Regional Vice President, Regional Director, General Manager, or equivalent executive leadership position within the automotive sector • Proven ownership of full P&L accountability, cash flow management, business performance, and growth delivery across multiple markets • Demonstrated success in developing and executing business strategy within complex multinational environments • Significant experience leading multi-country operations across the Middle East, Africa, India, Turkey, or comparable international regions • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to build, develop, and maintain strategic relationships with customers, partners, shareholders, and key stakeholders • A track record of driving organizational performance, leadership capability, talent development, and employee engagement • Experience leading business transformation initiatives, managing risk, navigating complex challenges, and resolving critical business issues • The ability to influence and collaborate effectively across global matrix structures and multiple stakeholder groups • Experience working within global organizations; exposure to Japanese and/or European corporate cultures would be highly advantageous The successful individual will bring the executive presence, strategic perspective, commercial judgment, and leadership maturity required to lead a complex regional business and drive its next phase of growth.
