Job Description : EXPAT QUARRY AND PLANT MANAGER NAMIBIA 15-20 years experience The Quarry & Plant Manager will hold full operational responsibility for quarry performance, safety, maintenance, production, quality, and financial results at a high-performing limestone operation. Working closely with senior leadership, this individual will lead site improvements, strengthen maintenance processes, develop the operational team, and support the successful delivery of a new quarry development project. This role is ideally suited to a field-driven leader with strong dragline, maintenance, and greenfield development experience who enjoys being close to the operation and leading from the front. Lead all quarry and plant operations with a strong focus on safety, production, quality, and operational excellence Hold full responsibility for site performance, budgeting, cost control, and continuous improvement initiatives Drive maintenance strategy, equipment reliability, and preventative maintenance programs across the operation Provide leadership across production, maintenance, quality, and logistics functions Develop, coach, and mentor supervisors, operators, and site leadership teams Improve operational processes to increase efficiency, reduce downtime, and maximise profitability Build strong relationships with employees, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory stakeholders Support the development and execution of a new greenfield quarry and plant project Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to deliver project objectives Establish long-term operational strategies to support continued growth and expansion What We’re Looking For: Proven leadership experience within quarrying, mining, or aggregates operations Strong quarry experience preferred Extensive dragline experience and deep knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance required Hands-on operational leader with a strong background in production and reliability Demonstrated success improving maintenance practices, equipment uptime, and operational performance Experience managing teams in a safety-focused mining environment Strong understanding of MSHA, environmental standards, and regulatory requirements Ability to lead from the field while building trust and accountability across the workforce A proactive, solutions-oriented leader who can develop teams and drive positive change
