Job Description : Plant Manager – Cement Plant Location: UAE Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Plant Manager to lead all aspects of cement manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective plant performance while maintaining the highest standards of quality, environmental compliance, and operational excellence. This leadership role requires a strategic professional with extensive experience in cement production and a proven ability to drive continuous improvement, operational reliability, and team development. ## Key Responsibilities § Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) § Plant Operations & Production § Strategic Leadership § Asset & Maintenance Management § Quality Assurance § Continuous Improvement § Stakeholder Management § People Management Qualifications & Experience: Education * Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline. * MBA or Master's Degree is an advantage. Experience * Minimum 10-15 years of experience in cement manufacturing operations. * At least 5 years in a senior leadership or Plant Manager role. * Strong experience in Pre-Heater, Pre-Calciner, Dry Process Cement Production. * GCC/UAE experience is highly preferred. # Technical Competencies: * Thorough understanding of cement manufacturing processes and cement chemistry. * Strong knowledge of quarry operations, maintenance management, and production planning. * Experience with ISO standards, quality systems, and certification requirements. * Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, CAPEX, and operational costs. * Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and reporting tools. # Key Competencies: * Strong leadership and people management skills. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. * Strategic thinking with strong operational focus. * Effective problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. * High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism. * Strong commitment to safety, quality, and environmental stewardship. * Ability to work in a dynamic and results-oriented environment.
