Job Description : Business Head – Poultry Feed (Nigeria / West Africa) Role Overview The Business Head – Feed Would be Responsible for leading the Overall Feed Business Operations, Driving Profitability, Business Growth, Operational Excellence, & Market Expansion Across Nigeria & West Africa. The Role Requires Strong Commercial Acumen, Strategic leadership, & Deep Understanding of the Poultry/Feed industry. The incumbent Would lead Cross functional Teams, Strengthen Distributor & Customer Relationships, Oversee Operational Efficiency, & Ensure Achievement of Revenue, Market Share, & P&L Objectives. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Develop & Execute business Strategies Aligned with Organizational Growth Objectives. Drive Sustainable Revenue Growth & Profitability for the Feed Business. Build Strong Relationships with Key Customers, Distributors, industry Stakeholders, & Government Authorities. Monitor Market Trends, Competitor Activities, Pricing Dynamics, & Customer Behavior to identify Growth Opportunities. Participate in Corporate Strategy Discussions & Contribute to Key Business Decisions. Business & Operational Management Oversee Day-to-Day Business Operations including Sales, supply Chain, logistics, inventory, finance, & Commercial Activities. Ensure effective Utilization of Resources, Fleet Management, & Operational Efficiency. Lead Budgeting, Forecasting, Operational Planning, & Performance Monitoring. Ensure Smooth Coordination Across Functions to Achieve Business Objectives. Commercial & Financial Performance Deliver Agreed Business Profitability, Revenue, & Growth Drive Strong Distributor Management & Market Penetration Strategies. Monitor Cash flow, FX exposure, Working Capital, & Overall Financial Performance. Implement & Review KPIs Across all Business Functions. Team & People Leadership Build & lead high-performing Teams With a Strong Performance-Driven culture. Mentor Senior leaders & ensure Alignment with Org. Goals. Promote Collaboration, Accountability, & Continuous improvement Across functions. Qualifications & Exp. Graduate with MBA or equivalent Qualification from a reputed institution. With about 20 years Of experience in the Poultry Feed / Animal Nutrition industry. Proven leadership experience in Commercial/Business roles at GM level or above for at least 3 years. Strong understanding of feed Business Operations, Sales, Distribution, & Market Dynamics in Africa. Excellent leadership, Negotiation, Analytical, & Stakeholder Management Skills. Exposure to Nigeria or West African Markets Would be an Added Advantage.
