Job Description : Commercial Head – Emerging Markets (Formulations Business) Company: One of the Top 10 Pharmaceutical Companies in India Location: Hyderabad Should be B.Pharmacy / B.Sc. with MBA from a reputed Business School. 20+ years of experience in commercial leadership roles within the pharmaceutical industry. Strong experience in leading Branded Generics businesses across India and/or Emerging Markets. Proven expertise in Sales & Marketing leadership, brand building, therapy development, and successful launches in new markets and therapeutic segments. Role Overview The incumbent will lead Sales and Marketing efforts across Emerging Markets, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. The role focuses on building a sustainable and profitable business through strategic brand creation, market expansion, and commercial excellence across multiple geographies. Key Responsibilities Business Growth & Commercial Excellence Drive revenue growth and market expansion across Emerging Markets. Build and strengthen brands through innovative commercial strategies. Lead high-performing commercial teams with a strong focus on execution excellence, governance, and compliance. Leadership & Team Development Provide strategic leadership, mentorship, and guidance to commercial teams. Foster a culture of performance, integrity, accountability, and continuous learning. Customer & Stakeholder Engagement Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders. Understand market dynamics and customer needs while upholding the highest ethical standards. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Manufacturing, and Finance teams to align commercial strategies and achieve business goals. People Leadership Lead a senior leadership team comprising Regional Heads (Vice Presidents), Marketing Head, and CROM team members. Marketing Excellence Establish robust marketing processes and digital marketing capabilities. Build strong regional marketing teams and scientific promotion platforms. Develop knowledge-based customer relationships and drive launch excellence across markets.
