Job Description : Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Polyester Knitting Plant- Bangladesh Compensation: USD 12,000 – 15,000 per month + Benefits (Housing, Vehicle, Medical, Annual Leave, Air Tickets) Employment Type: Full-Time Position Summary The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will provide strategic and operational leadership for a large-scale polyester knitting manufacturing facility. The role is responsible for end-to-end plant operations including knitting, dyeing, finishing, quality assurance, maintenance, planning, supply chain, compliance, and cost management. The COO will drive operational excellence, productivity improvement, quality enhancement, and profitability while ensuring world-class manufacturing standards. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company growth objectives. Lead annual business planning, budgeting, and capacity expansion initiatives. Drive operational excellence through Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, and continuous improvement programs. Establish KPIs and performance monitoring systems across all departments. Manufacturing Operations Oversee complete production processes from yarn receipt to finished fabric dispatch. Manage knitting, dyeing, finishing, quality control, laboratory, engineering, and maintenance functions. Ensure optimum machine utilization, productivity, and on-time delivery performance. Improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize operational costs. Technical & Process Excellence Lead process optimization initiatives for polyester and synthetic knitted fabrics. Ensure compliance with international buyer requirements and quality standards. Support product development and innovation in performance and technical fabrics. Drive automation and digital manufacturing initiatives. Financial & Commercial Management Own plant P&L performance. Control manufacturing costs, inventory levels, and working capital. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Merchandising teams to meet customer expectations. Develop productivity improvement and cost reduction programs. Quality, Compliance & Sustainability Ensure compliance with international standards, customer audits, and certifications. Lead environmental, health, and safety initiatives. Drive sustainability programs related to water, energy, chemicals, and waste management. Maintain compliance with local regulations and buyer requirements. People Leadership Lead and develop senior management teams across production, technical, and support functions. Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement. Develop succession planning and talent development programs
