Job Description : HEMM DIRECTOR NIGERIA Director – HEMM for its operations in Africa. The position is based in Lagos / Nigeria Responsibilities The position is responsible for providing strategic leadership and technical oversight for all Heavy Earth Moving Machinery operations across quarry and mining sites. The role ensures optimal equipment availability, fleet productivity, maintenance efficiency, cost control, safety compliance, and uninterrupted material supply to production plants. Develop and implement a group-wide HEMM strategy aligned with mining, quarry and production objectives. Optimize fleet size, composition and deployment across all quarry operations. Ensure high utilization and performance of key equipment including excavators, dump trucks, haul trucks, wheel loaders, dozers and graders. Drive fleet availability, reliability and productivity targets across all sites. Establish and standardize preventive and predictive maintenance frameworks. Oversee equipment health monitoring systems and reduce breakdown frequency. Lead root cause analysis for major equipment failures. Optimize maintenance cost per operating hour and per ton moved.
