Job Description : Deputy General Manager (DGM) – Plant Operations & Administration CANBERRA AUSTRALIA Open to International candidates We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to lead Plant Operations and Administration functions at our Hydro Power Plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient plant performance, statutory compliance, administration, manpower management, and overall operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: ? Oversee day-to-day Hydro Power Plant Operations to ensure optimum generation and efficiency. ? Monitor plant performance, maintenance coordination, and operational reliability. ? Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, statutory, and regulatory requirements. ? Manage plant administration, security, housekeeping, transport, and facilities. ? Lead manpower planning, workforce management, and employee engagement initiatives. ? Coordinate with government authorities, local administration, contractors, and stakeholders. ? Drive cost optimization, budgeting, and operational improvement initiatives. ? Develop and implement SOPs, policies, and best practices for plant operations. ? Prepare and present operational reports to senior management. Desired Profile: ? Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Civil) preferred. ? 15–20+ years of experience in Power Plant Operations, preferably Hydro Power Plants. ? Strong exposure to plant administration and team management. ? Sound knowledge of statutory compliances, safety regulations, and operational controls. ?
