20 yearsJob Description : Dairy Applications Manager / Food Scientist GERMANY Open to International candidates We are seeking an experienced Dairy Applications Manager / Food Scientist to lead and manage our Dairy Applications Lab in Gurgaon. This is an individual contributor role with complete ownership of: - Application development - Customer projects - Laboratory operations - Technical support - Equipment management - Innovation activities - Collaboration with local business and global application teams The ideal candidate should possess a hands-on approach, strong ownership mindset, and the ability to independently manage multiple technical and operational priorities. Key Product Focus Areas - Processed Cheese - Sterilized Dairy & Non-Dairy Beverages - Analogue Cooking & Whipping Creams - Yogurt - Cream Cheese - Related Dairy Applications Key Responsibilities 1. Dairy & Food Application Development - Develop prototypes and application concepts for processed cheese, analogue cheese, UHT and retort beverages, plant-based beverages, yogurt, culinary cream, etc. - Develop and optimize recipes using the company portfolio and local ingredients. - Conduct product evaluations, benchmarking, and testing. 2. Customer Technical Support & Project Management - Lead customer projects and technical discussions. - Support customer trials and troubleshooting activities. - Travel to customer sites for production trials. - Provide technical support to sales teams. 3. Application Lab Management - Manage daily operations of the Dairy Applications Lab. - Maintain laboratory equipment and coordinate servicing/AMCs. - Prepare SOPs and maintain technical documentation. - Ensure food safety standards and laboratory compliance. 4. Global Collaboration & Reporting - Collaborate closely with the Dairy Applications Team in Germany. - Share project developments, technical reports, and updates. Candidate Profile Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in: - Dairy Technology - Food Technology - Food Science (Preferred from reputed Dairy Technology or Food Science institutes 18+years of relevant industry experience. - Preferably 3–5 years of experience in dairy or food manufacturing plants. - Strong expertise in dairy applications, formulation development, and customer-facing technical roles.
