Job Description : Oil & Fat Equipment Sales Manager – Uganda Position Summary The Oil & Fat Equipment Sales Manager will be responsible for developing the oilseed processing and edible oil market in Uganda and surrounding regions. The role focuses on business development, customer relationship management, project sales, channel development, contract execution support, and market promotion activities. The successful candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of oilseed processing, edible oil production, and project sales within the agricultural and agro-processing industries. Key Responsibilities 1. Business Development & Customer Management Support the Country Representative in developing the Oil & Fat business market in Uganda and East Africa. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers. Identify new business opportunities and develop long-term customer partnerships. Conduct regular customer visits to understand operational needs and investment plans. 2. Channel Development Develop and maintain strategic marketing channels, including: l Local agents and distributors l Industry consultants l Government agencies l Industry associations l Key stakeholders in the agriculture and agro-processing sectors Build networks that generate qualified project opportunities. 3. Project Sales & Opportunity Management Identify, qualify, and track Oil & Fat processing project opportunities. Prepare technical and commercial proposals. Support customers during project evaluation and decision-making processes. Negotiate contracts and facilitate project closure. Achieve annual sales and business development targets. 4. Contract Execution & Customer Support Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful project implementation. Monitor project progress and customer satisfaction. Support contract execution and after-sales service activities. Follow up on receivables and ensure timely payment collection. 5. Marketing & Brand Promotion Assist in organizing and participating in: l Industry exhibitions l Technical seminars l Customer training programs l Demonstration and observation visits l Media and promotional activities Strengthen FAMSUN's brand presence within the Oil & Fat industry. Qualification Requirements Education Bachelor's Degree or above in: l Food Engineering l Mechanical Engineering l Agricultural Engineering l Industrial Engineering l Marketing l International Trade l Business Administration l Related technical disciplines Experience Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in: l Oilseed processing l Edible oil manufacturing l Oil extraction plants l Refinery operations l Oil & Fat equipment sales l Agro-processing project sales Experience in equipment or engineering project sales is highly preferred.
