Job Description : Chief Executive Officer – Greenfield Data Centre Project (Near Mumbai) We are seeking an entrepreneurial and techno-commercial leader to establish and scale a world-class greenfield data centre business near Mumbai. Reporting to the Board/Promoters, the CEO will lead the entire lifecycle—from concept, funding, and construction to commissioning, operations, and commercial growth. The role encompasses strategy formulation, P&L ownership, equity and debt fund raising, land acquisition, regulatory approvals, project development, EPC management, technology infrastructure, commissioning, and ongoing operations. The CEO will build relationships with investors, government authorities, EPC partners, technology vendors, utilities, and customers while driving revenue growth and profitability. The incumbent will define Tier III/Tier IV infrastructure standards, oversee mission-critical systems, establish operating frameworks, recruit leadership teams, and develop partnerships with hyperscalers, cloud providers, telecom operators, and enterprise customers. Sustainability, ESG initiatives, cybersecurity, and operational excellence are integral to the role. Candidates should possess an engineering degree, preferably complemented by an MBA, with 20–30 years of experience and at least 10 years in data centres, digital infrastructure, telecom infrastructure, EPC, or mission-critical projects. Proven experience in conceiving, funding, building, commissioning, and operating a large-scale (20 MW+) greenfield infrastructure asset is essential.
