Deputy General Manager

Job Description : Deputy General Manager – Operations & Sales GHANA We are looking for a seasoned and results-driven leader to drive both manufacturing operations and commercial performance for a growing manufacturing business in Ghana. This strategic leadership role will be responsible for aligning plant operations with business objectives to achieve sustainable growth, operational excellence, and profitability. ???? Role Overview • Lead manufacturing operations, production planning, and operational efficiency • Drive sales growth, market expansion, and profitability targets • Manage dealer/distributor networks and key customer relationships • Ensure alignment between production capabilities and market demand • Optimize costs across production, logistics, inventory, and commercial activities • Monitor P&L performance, business planning, and forecasting • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver operational and commercial excellence ???? Ideal Candidate ? 10–15 years of experience in Manufacturing, Operations, Sales, or Commercial Leadership ? Minimum 5 years in a senior management role with exposure to both Operations and Sales ? Strong expertise in P&L management, business growth, and team leadership ? Experience in Plastics, Water Tanks, Pipes & Fittings, Packaging, Industrial Products, or FMCG sectors ? Prior Africa market exposure will be an added advantage ???? Qualification • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Marketing, or a related field • MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred
