PRINTING HEAD

Job Description : PRINTING HEAD TANZANIA The Head of Printing is the most senior production leader in CI Group's printing division, responsible for the full operational management of DGI, Offset, Screen Printing, and Embroidery departments. This role ensures on-time delivery, quality output, cost control, and team performance across all printing operations. Oversee daily operations across DGI, Offset, Screen Printing, and Embroidery departments. Plan and manage production schedules to ensure all deadlines are met. Ensure all machines are running at full capacity during active jobs. Implement and enforce three-shift operations when production demands require it. Coordinate external hire when internal capacity is insufficient to meet deadlines. Monitor machine maintenance schedules and minimise downtime. Approve job setup, colour matching, and quality sign-off before production runs. Ensure proper handover between shifts with complete job records. Set and enforce quality standards across all printing processes. Conduct spot checks on output across all divisions daily. Manage client rejection and reprint processes with root cause analysis. Ensure ISO 9001 compliance across all production activities. Maintain Coca-Cola SGP compliance standards where applicable Monitor raw material inventory levels across all printing divisions. Raise purchase requests in advance to avoid production stoppages. For local materials ensure purchasing is completed within hours of shortfall identification. For imported materials document lead times in writing and plan production accordingly. Maintain written deadline registers for all active jobs noting material source Degree or Diploma in Printing Technology, Production Management, or related field. Minimum 12 years in printing industry with at least 3 years in a senior/managerial role. Hands-on experience across DGI, Offset, Screen Printing, and Embroidery operations. Experience managing multi-shift operations and large production teams. Strong knowledge of printing materials, inks, substrates, and equipment.
