Qual:B.E/B.Tech (Full time)(Printing or Mechanical ) Job Summary: The Head of Production in Packaging Manufacturing is responsible for overseeing the entire production process, ensuring efficient, high-quality, and cost-effective manufacturing of packaging products. The role involves leadership of the production team, implementing manufacturing best practices, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring timely delivery of products to meet customer demands. Key Responsibilities: Production Management: Plan, coordinate, and control manufacturing processes to meet production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules. Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop the production team, including supervisors, operators, and technicians. Quality Assurance: Ensure all products meet quality specifications and comply with regulatory standards. Process Optimization: Continuously improve manufacturing processes for efficiency, waste reduction, and cost savings. Maintenance & Safety: Oversee equipment maintenance programs and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Inventory Control: Manage raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods inventory levels. Budgeting & Cost Control: Prepare and manage production budgets, control costs, and optimize resource utilization. Compliance: Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards. Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on production KPIs and suggest improvements. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field. Master’s preferred. Proven experience (15+ years) in production management within packaging or manufacturing industries. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and safety standards. Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office. Problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
