Production Manager

Job Description : PRODUCTION MANAGER GHANA Graduate with an Engineering or Science degree, PG in Packaging preferable. 10+ years of experience in a medium size flexible packaging plant with facilities The plant has Flexo Printing, Gravure Printing,Slitter and Pouching machines, Mono Extruder, Blown film machines, Three layer blown film machines and thin wall injection molding machines. Position is responsible for · Planning, organizing, directing and running optimum day-to-day operations · Responsibility for production output, product quality and on-time shipping · Oversee all daily operations of the plant from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed. · Develop processes that will maximize safety, quality and productivity. · Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results · Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions · Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff · Position reports to the Promoters. Has scope to be grown into the Operations Head role. Graduate with a post qualification in Plastic / Packaging Technology. hands on experience in flexible packaging plant, knowledge of blown film machines, flexo printing, slitting and pouching machines, injection molding.
