Job Description : CHIEF REVENUE OFFICER SIERRA LEONE an ambitious and fast-growing fintech company that is transforming access to digital financial services in Sierra Leone. The company has built a strong product offering across digital wallets, cards, payments and merchant solutions, and has already established itself as one of the most innovative fintech players in the market. Having gained strong early traction and built a solid reputation, the business is now entering its next phase of growth. The focus is to scale beyond its current customer base and drive mass-market adoption among consumers, merchants and the wider unbanked and underbanked population. To support this journey, we are seeking a commercially driven and entrepreneurial Chief Revenue Officer to lead revenue growth, customer acquisition, market penetration and commercial strategy. The Role Reporting directly to the Founder during the initial phase, you will take ownership of the company’s revenue strategy and commercial growth agenda. You will be responsible for: Building scalable customer acquisition channels Increasing wallet and card usage Growing merchant adoption Driving transaction volumes across the ecosystem Strengthening the company’s position as a leading fintech in Sierra Leone This role is ideal for a hands-on fintech growth leader who understands high-volume, low-margin business models and knows how to turn market insights into practical commercial execution. You will work closely with the leadership team across product, operations, compliance, finance and customer service. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute the company’s revenue and go-to-market strategy across customer acquisition, merchant adoption and transaction growth. Drive mass-market adoption of digital wallets, cards, payment solutions and related financial services. Develop and strengthen partnerships with merchants, banks, telcos, regulators, payment providers and ecosystem partners. Analyse customer behaviour, market trends and competitive dynamics to identify new growth opportunities. Build strategies to reach underserved and unbanked customers, including informal merchants and small businesses. Lead product, pricing, promotion and commercial strategy to increase usage, retention and profitability. Improve onboarding, activation and engagement processes for both consumers and merchants. Build and develop a high-performing commercial, growth and partnerships team. Establish scalable processes, KPIs and operational disciplines across revenue-generating functions. Work closely with product and compliance teams on KYC, transaction monitoring and customer experience improvements. Prepare commercial performance reports and provide strategic recommendations to support decision-making. Contribute to future regional expansion plans across new markets and territories. Candidate Profile We are looking for an ambitious fintech growth leader who combines strategic thinking with strong hands-on execution. You are likely to bring: A minimum of 10 years’ experience in fintech, payments, digital banking, mobile money, financial services, consumer platforms or related high-growth sectors. Proven experience leading revenue growth, customer acquisition, merchant acquisition or market expansion initiatives. Strong understanding of digital wallets, payments, cards, remittances, merchant services or agent networks. Experience with high-volume, low-margin business models and mass-market consumer adoption. Strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify new market opportunities. Experience building teams, setting KPIs and driving performance in fast-moving environments. Ability to translate customer insights and market feedback into practical growth strategies. Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience with partners, banks, regulators and internal leadership teams. Experience working in Africa or other emerging markets will be highly advantageous. A willingness to relocate to Sierra Leone.
