20 yearsJob Description : FACTORY UNIT HEAD CANADA Open to International candidates with 20+ years experience DEPARTMENT: MANUFACTURING OPERATIONS & PROJECTS We are seeking a visionary and technically astute Plant Head with over 20 years of experience. Holding a B.Tech in Food Technology, you will drive daily manufacturing excellence and spearhead critical Greenfield and Brownfield expansion projects while mentoring the next generation of leaders. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES BISCUIT & CHOCOLATE PROCESSING • Line Optimization: Manage continuous high-capacity tunnel ovens and chocolate moulding lines. • Quality Precision: Ensure precise temperature controls for chocolate tempering and enrobing processes. BEVERAGE & POWDER PACKING Aseptic Operations: Supervise high-speed aseptic beverage filling lines and carbonation processing. ? Packaging Velocity: Lead high-speed automated vertical form-fill-seal (VFFS) powder packing operations. PROJECT MANAGEMENT (GREENFIELD & BROWNFIELD) • Greenfield Capital Projects: Oversee civil erection, layout planning, and machine commissioning from scratch. ? Brownfield Integration: Upgrade active assembly lines and integrate new processing units with minimal downtime. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Education: B.Tech/B.E. in Food Technology or Food Engineering is mandatory. Compliance Standards: Deep, non-negotiable knowledge of FSSC 22000, HACCP, BRC, GMP, and BIS/FSSAI norms. Leadership Traits: Proven track record of managing multi-category operations and large workforce ecosystems. Strategic Alignment: Translate corporate growth targets into plant-level manufacturing strategies. ? Stakeholder Relations: Align plant milestones with executive leadership and corporate supply chain partners. ? Digital Transformation: Champion Industry 4.0 adoption, automated data logging, and lean manufacturing mindsets. ? Financial Oversight: Manage the factory's annual operating budgets (OPEX) and capital expenditures (CAPEX). SUCCESSION PLANNING & TALENT DEVELOPMENT ? Pipeline Cultivation: Identify and groom high-potential managers for future critical plant leadership roles. • Knowledge Governance: Codify standard operating procedures to retain. institutional knowledge across technical teams. • Technical Mentorship: Structure coaching programs to build cross- functional competency in multi-category lines. Retention Plannignt: Design clear career progression paths for key technical talent to minimize vacancy risks.
