Job Description : VICE PRESIDENT: STRATEGIC MARKETING Multi-Brand Retail Group This is one of the GCC's most influential marketing leadership appointments. leading multi-brand retailer spanning children's retail, fashion, homewares, accessories and lifestyle, with an established footprint across the region. Reporting directly to the President of the Business Unit, the Vice President of Strategic Marketing will define the long-term marketing vision across multiple product categories while leading, mentoring and developing a high-performing leadership team. This is not a hands-on execution role. We are not looking for a campaign manager or a digital marketing specialist. Execution sits within an experienced leadership structure. You will lead 6 Heads of Marketing and 12 Marketing & Brand Managers, providing strategic direction, coaching and governance to ensure every brand delivers against its commercial ambitions. The successful executive will bring: 18+ years of progressive marketing leadership within major multi-brand retail organisations. Deep experience across fashion, children's retail, homewares, accessories or lifestyle categories. Proven ability to build, mentor and elevate senior marketing leaders. Strong product category and brand portfolio management expertise rather than direct P&L ownership. Experience partnering with Presidents, CEOs and executive leadership teams to shape long-term growth strategies. Exceptional capability leading multicultural teams across complex international organisations. This appointment requires a strategic leader who can challenge thinking, simplify complexity and build marketing capability for the next decade. broader leadership diversity objectives, they are particularly interested in executives who bring significant international retail experience and can add further diversity of perspective to an existing leadership team comprising Indian, Arabic and European executives.
