IT Manager – Mining Operations

Experience: 8+ Years ???? Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline. Are you an experienced IT professional with a strong background in IT Infrastructure, Hardware, Networking, and Industrial IT Operations? We are looking for a dynamic IT Manager to lead and manage the IT infrastructure for our mining operations in Mutoshi, DRC. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, servers, storage, and data center operations. Ensure high availability of LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, internet connectivity, and network security. Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Office 365, backup, and disaster recovery solutions. Lead installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, printers, biometric systems, CCTV, IP telephony, and other IT hardware. Configure and manage firewalls, routers, switches, and network security devices. Support ERP systems and coordinate with vendors for implementation and maintenance. Ensure cybersecurity best practices, endpoint protection, data security, and compliance. Manage IT procurement, software licensing, AMC contracts, and vendor relationships. Lead the local IT team and provide technical support to end users across plant operations. Develop IT policies, documentation, and standard operating procedures. Ensure uninterrupted IT services to support 24x7 mining operations. Desired Candidate Profile 8+ years of relevant experience in IT Infrastructure, Hardware & Networking. Prior work experience in Africa is mandatory. Experience supporting Mining, Manufacturing, Cement, Steel, Power Plants, or Industrial Facilities. Strong knowledge of: Enterprise Networking (Cisco/Fortinet/MikroTik preferred) Windows Server & Active Directory VMware/Virtualization Office 365 & Microsoft Azure Firewall & Network Security CCTV, Access Control & Biometric Systems Backup & Disaster Recovery ERP Support (SAP experience preferred) Excellent troubleshooting, leadership, vendor management, and communication skills.
