Facilities Management Director

Job Description : Facilities Management Director | GCC Region leading organization in the GCC accomplished Facilities Management Director with a proven track record in strategic facilities operations, asset management, property services, and operational excellence. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced executive to lead integrated facilities management across large-scale commercial, healthcare, industrial, hospitality, or mixed-use developments. The Facilities Management Director will provide strategic leadership for the organization’s facilities management function, ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, safety, sustainability, and performance of all assets and built environments. The successful candidate will oversee integrated facilities services, capital planning, vendor management, and regulatory compliance while driving operational excellence and cost optimization. * Develop and implement strategic facilities management plans that support organizational objectives and long-term asset performance. * Lead the operation, maintenance, and lifecycle management of buildings, infrastructure, and critical facilities across multiple sites. * Oversee outsourced service providers, contract management, vendor performance, and facilities budgets to ensure operational efficiency and value creation. * Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, sustainability, and regulatory requirements while promoting best practices in facilities management. * Drive continuous improvement initiatives, digital transformation, energy efficiency, and asset optimization to enhance operational performance. * Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred). * Minimum of 18 years of progressive facilities management experience, including senior leadership or executive-level responsibilities. * Demonstrated success managing large, multi-site facilities portfolios within commercial, healthcare, hospitality, industrial, or mixed-use environments. * Professional certifications such as CFM, FMP, IFMA, RICS, PMP, or equivalent are highly desirable. * Exceptional leadership, commercial acumen, stakeholder management, contract negotiation, and strategic planning skills, with GCC or international experience considered a strong advantage.
