20 yearsJob Description : COO DUBAI A leading industrial manufacturing organisation in Dubai is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to drive the next phase of operational growth and excellence. This executive role offers you the chance to shape the future of a business renowned for its expertise in hot induction pipe bending and precision fabrication, serving high-value sectors such as oil & gas, power generation, petrochemicals, water transmission, and major infrastructure projects. As Chief Operating Officer based in Dubai, you will take ownership of translating strategic vision into operational reality across an entire value stream—from order intake through engineering design to final product shipment. Your day-to-day focus will be on orchestrating complex manufacturing processes using state-of-the-art induction heating technology for pipe bending applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure that every stage—production planning, fabrication oversight, quality assurance—runs smoothly under your guidance. Oversee end-to-end operational performance including production planning, induction bending, fabrication, welding, inspection, heat treatment, finishing, and shipping to ensure seamless workflow and timely delivery. Maximise utilisation of advanced machinery by managing capacity planning, scheduling resources efficiently, and addressing bottlenecks to meet or exceed customer commitments. Drive improvements in throughput, on-time delivery rates, first-pass yield metrics, and overall equipment effectiveness through data-driven decision making. Implement Lean manufacturing principles and foster a culture of continuous improvement by standardising work practices across all production cells. Supervise preventive and predictive maintenance programmes to guarantee asset reliability while minimising unplanned downtime within the facility. Ensure all products comply with relevant industry codes and standards such as ASME B31.1/B31.3, API 5L, ISO 9001 as well as specific client requirements. Collaborate closely with Engineering and Quality teams to maintain strict control over process parameters ensuring mechanical integrity and traceability throughout production. Champion health, safety, and environmental priorities by embedding hazard identification and risk reduction into daily routines while striving for zero-incident outcomes. Oversee procurement activities including sourcing raw materials and equipment; manage supplier relationships to optimise inventory levels and mitigate supply chain risks. Hold full P&L accountability for operations by managing budgets effectively, controlling costs of goods sold and labour expenses while driving margin improvements.
