Job Description : HEAD OF DAIRIES (DAIRY SECTOR ONLY) EAST AFRICA Lead and oversee all dairy operations, including milk procurement, processing, production, quality assurance, and plant performance, ensuring operational excellence, food safety, and sustainable business growth. Dairy Production & Processing • Quality Assurance & Food Safety Plant Operations & Efficiency • Cost Control & Budget Management • Regulatory Compliance Team Leadership & Development • Process Improvement • Strategic Planning Key Responsibilities • Lead end-to-end dairy operations. • Manage milk procurement and processing. • Ensure product quality and food safety compliance. • Improve operational efficiency and control costs. Coordinate with production, quality, and supply chain teams. Lead and develop the dairy operations team. Education • Bachelor's degree in Dairy Technology, Food Science, Food Engineering, Veterinary Sciences, or a related field. ? Master's degree is preferred Experience ? 20+ years of experience exclusively in the Dairy Industry Requirements • Experience must be exclusively in the Dairy Industry. • Strong expertise in dairy processing and milk procurement. • Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, and food safety standards. • Strong leadership and operational management skills. • Proficiency in ERP systems and production planning. • Excellent communication and decision-making abilities. Age 40-50 years (Preferred)
